Always a fresh catch! Had a 6oz blackened ahi tuna that was delicious! A side of steamed veggies that we're delightfully seasoned and tasty. My friend had a seafood case of dia that was just beautiful. The food here is excellent. The service is attentive. Full bar if that is your persuasion

Well, shuck me sideways! Just got back from Fathom Steam Room & Oyster Bar in beautiful Carrabelle, Florida, and let me tell you – this place is the pearl of the Panhandle! As a dad who's always fishing for compliments and a proud American who believes in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (especially when it involves seafood), I knew this was going to be one shell of a good time. My brother Brandon was nervous about trying his first oysters – kept saying he was "shellfish" about the whole idea. But boy, did he come out of his shell! By the third dozen, he was slurping like a pro and declaring himself the "oyster whisperer." I told him, "Brandon, you're really on a roll... or should I say, on a half shell!" Meanwhile, this old sea dog decided to try something new myself – my very first Michelob Light. Now, I'm usually a red-blooded Michelob ultra or Budweiser kind of guy, but when in Rome... or should I say, when in Florida! It went down smoother than my best dad jokes (and that's saying something). The bartender asked if I liked it, and I said, "It's not heavy, it's my brother!" Get it? Like the old commercial? Classic! The atmosphere was absolutely fin-tastic – you could really feel the Gulf Coast vibes washing over you like a good tide. The service was quicker than my reflexes when someone reaches for the last piece of cornbread, and the staff was friendlier than a golden retriever at a tennis ball factory. The steamed clams were so good, they had me feeling a little... *steamed* that I'd never been here before! And don't even get me started on their grouper – it was so fresh, I'm pretty sure it was still doing laps that morning. Brandon kept making jokes about feeling "a little green around the gills" after all those oysters, but I think he was just being koi. This place really knows how to bait you in and reel you back for more! This establishment is definitely worth diving into. It's the kind of place that makes you proud to be an American – good food, good family, and good times by the water Bottom line is that we'll definitely be back faster than you can say "Red snapper!" Because at Fathom, every visit is absolutely sublime – and that's no fish tale! P.S. – I asked the waiter if they had any specials, and he said, "Yes, we have a special on dad jokes." I said, "Perfect, I'll take a dozen!"

Cold beer, fresh seafood, and a view! I’d show you my oysters and blackened grouper sandwich but they were too good to stop and take a picture. Two thumbs up.

Real shrimp and grits. World class. Down home, local strong vibe. Reminds me of all the best parts of growing up in Florida. Feels like I know everyone. You'll find acceptance, grace and friends here. Carrabelle gem.

My wife loves trying out new restaurants. So while driving back home in upper Florida. She saw this place. So she checked out their reviews and asked about how hungry are we? Sure we can stop. We did and it reminded me of old motorcycle bars I use to hang out at. Food was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. Looking out to the dockside and just a beautiful day too. She got the Shrimp Tacos. I got the Grouper Sandwich. Both very tasty and enjoyable.

Stopped here while visiting St. George. Adorable place, bartender was great, prices were fair and food was good. They had a live band. No complaints at all and we look forwardto going back. Loved the mussels!!

There were four of us we all got a little something different. The server was very kind and attentive she checked on us often and made sure we knew what we were getting. The drinks were well made and cold. We were all satisfied with our seafood meals. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfectly suited to the water side views.
